We’re the Merrill family — a hands-on crew of nine with a passion for helping families stay safe, ready, and resilient. Our business was born out of real life: Katie, our fearless mom, is a full-time firefighter, certified EMT, and mother of seven. She brings her frontline experience into every kit we create, ensuring they’re practical, effective, and designed with families in mind.

Brandon, our dad, is the brains behind the build. He’s a former physics teacher turned aerospace engineer who now leads cutting-edge projects in missile guidance (yes, really). He’s also a competitive powerlifter and early-riser who somehow still finds time to coach us through shipping orders, managing spreadsheets, and dreaming up new kit ideas. He keeps us organized, focused, and always learning.

At 7 Lively Kids, we believe in empowering families with tools that are simple, affordable, and effective. Whether it’s a scraped knee, a power outage, or a day at the park, we want your family to feel more confident, more prepared, and more connected — one kit at a time.

Audrey & Noah: Co-Captains of Curiosity

Age: 15
As the oldest of the crew, Audrey and Noah are our idea factory and leadership team rolled into one. Whether it’s researching kit components, designing graphics, or brainstorming new product lines, they’re always asking, “What’s next?” Audrey brings precision and creativity, while Noah adds logic and momentum — and together, they help keep the vision (and the rest of us) moving forward. Twins by birth, trailblazers by nature.

Claire: Creative Director of Chaos

Age: 13
Claire brings the energy, imagination, and hustle. She may not always have the tidiest workstation, but when it’s go time, she dives in headfirst and gets the job done. With a natural flair for creativity and a head full of ideas, she’s our go-to for marketing concepts, advertising angles, and making things look fun and fresh. When Claire’s in the zone, things get done — and they get noticed.

Oliver: Chief Build Officer

Age: 10
Oliver is our master builder and detail ninja. Give him a pile of parts (or Legos), and he’ll have it assembled with precision and purpose. Whether he’s organizing supplies, helping design new kit layouts, or solving tricky packing puzzles, Oliver brings serious focus and craftsmanship to the team. If it needs to be built, sorted, or structurally sound — Oliver’s your guy.

Ella: Joy Specialist & Craft Coordinator

Age: 7
Ella lights up the room (and the workspace) with her endless joy, big smile, and boundless energy. She’s the heart of the team — always singing, skipping, or creating something adorable out of scrap paper and tape. With a love for crafts and a flair for decorating, Ella adds a touch of charm to everything she touches. If there’s sparkle, color, or cuteness involved, you can bet Ella had a hand in it.

Ruth & Emmett: Product Testers & Chaos Consultants

Age: 5
Don’t let their size fool you — Ruth and Emmett bring big energy and bigger personalities to the team. As the youngest twins, they specialize in high-intensity product testing (read: trying to break stuff), playing tag through the packing area, and keeping everyone on their toes. Wild, rambunctious, and always up for a job, they help model our gear, test kid-friendliness, and occasionally sneak bubble wrap out of the supply bins. Every day’s an adventure with these two on board.
